Filling
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 1/4 cup Melted coconut oil
- 2 Tbsp Raw Honey ( Agave or Maple Syrup )
- 2 Tbsp Hazlenut Butter
- 1/2 tsp of Vanilla Extract
75g dark chocolate
Method
- Add all the filling ingredients into a bowl and combine.
- When combined add them to a blender and mix them to break down the coconut and you get a paste.
- Using a teaspoon take some of the filling and shape into balls/domes.
- Place them on parchment paper on lined sheet/plate.
- Continue this step until all the mixture is used.
- Put the plate of truffles into the fridge to set.
- While that is setting melt some dark chocolate in a bowl over hot water.
- Remove truffles from the fridge.
- Dip and cover some of the truffles in the melted chocolate placing back on the parchment paper each time.
- Place them back in the fridge to set.
